IHCI personnel typically oversee project supervision and administration throughout the development process, from initial concept through project completion and finally to the end of the project warranty period. We tailor our services carefully to the client’s organizational needs, providing as much (or as little) support as the development process requires. Services available include the following:
- Incorporation / revision of incorporation documents
- Client needs analysis
- Capacity-building assistance
- Site analysis
- Land purchase / lease (re)negotiation
- Financial analysis of proposed project(s)
- Development and supervision of capital and operating budgets
- Development and co-ordination of funding applications
- Assistance with the selection, contracting, and supervision of both the general contractor / construction manager and any pertinent design and technical consultants, including architect
- Co-ordination of municipal approvals, including rezoning
- General oversight of the construction or renovation processes
- Claims administration and capital project accounting
- GST reporting with Canada Revenue Agency, including self-supply administration and municipal status application
- Member / tenant selection and education
- Move-in co-ordination
- Property management setup, including skill-building and/or securing management
